Can I change recipes around to avoid wasting food?
Yes! If the food plan says recipes A, B and C on day 1 and D, E and F on day 2 for b/fast, lunch and dinner respectively, then it is possible to do A, B and F on day 1 or A, B and F on day 2. This would allow you to use leftovers from the previous day and avoid wasted food. It is also possible to repeat recipes on days so for example A for breakfast on both days or C for dinner on both days. In the medium-term it is important to have a varied diet so don’t have A for all 7 days in a row! Make sure though that you stay within the approximate calorie range.
